Glamorous lives

Tonight I went to the Nuart with Liz & Sam to catch the midnight screening of The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai, a Japanese pink film turned existential political satire.

I love the Nuart. I love midnight screenings. I love that in this city there is always something weird going on. I’m bummed that I don’t have the Nuart around all the time; one of the ushers introduced the upcoming midnight features and they sounded great (including the video game documentary The King of Kong and a shadowcast of Clue).

Celeste & I are heading up north in a couple of hours. Weeeeee!
